WebGen

A script for generating a website using Markdown files and pandoc

The script included in this repository will take Markdown files and a template HTML file, and create webpages based off of them.

The script expects to be located in the root directory of the website, however it can be changed to point to a specific folder instead.

pandoc is needed for this script to function, so please be sure to install it ahead of time.

There are a couple of example files included in this repo (a Markdown file and an HTML file) to get an idea of how to type up your own.

Please be sure to prefix any ' characters in your Markdown files with a \, otherwise things come out a bit wonky!
